good product SLOW SHIPPING February 22, 2010 babydol ordered the product after reviewing the product seems great but the shipping is very SLOW... 5-9 business days is what it claims but after ordering it is telling me 17-24 days for shipping totally aggravated with the incompetence of amazon shipping.
just what I needed February 15, 2010 M. Unger (Phila., P.a.) I am cooking with large pots. Recently purchased the CanCooker. This burner does the trick to rapidly bring my cooking temp to where I need it. No issues with this product.
Good Burner 4.5 stars February 12, 2010 SHACKLEDRAGE (Ohio) Bought the 36 qt SS kettle and needed an outdoor setup. Got this version since it had a nice wind guard. Been getting 4 batches per tank and rocks a boil in about 30-40 min. Only reason I give it a 4.5 on the stars is the paint, horrible smell burning off on your first use, but is gone after that. Is a great burner. Would recomend the Bayou Classic KAB4 High Pressure Banjo Cooker if you don't mind having to purchase more propane.
I'm from Delcambre and now live in Lafayette, LA so listen to me when I talk to you!!! February 6, 2010 Cajun From Across the Bayou (Lafayette, La) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm a beer drinking, head suckin'(to clarify what I'm talking about, crawfish fat, accordion playing, sausage browning, fish frying...ahh, okay, you get the point. I'm a cajun and very proud! The Bayou Classic SP10 is an amazingly sturdy burner. The construction of this unit is flawless. It puts out more than enough heat for any residential fishfry, crawfish/crab/shrimp boil, turkeys, you name it! You can count on this burner to put out for the rest of your little life. I've researched every brand for about a month and decided to go with this one because of sturdy it is. I've cooked on King's and Camp's and they end up falling apart due to how skinny the construction is on these units. Don't waste your time or money on anything else!! Take it from someone who uses one of these things almost everyday. GO SAINTS!!!!! SUPERBOWL!!!! Sorry, I had to stick that in there. Well there ya' go, you ask for my opinion and I give you fact!lol Thanks Amazon for being so amazing to work with!!!

Great for homebrewing. January 21, 2010 A. Godfrey I've only used this twice to brew beer, but it works great. I can easily bring 7 gallons of water to a boil in a short amount of time. While the black finish looks nice, it burns off after the first use, so just be careful the flakes don't come up into your pot. Additionally the instructions included are pretty bad. They are generic and don't even show the model purchased. There is only a very small amount of assembly, not like what is described in the manual. Also I had a spring left over as an extra part. Not sure what it was for but apparently I didn't need it to operate.
